Chris Patrick
Chris Patrick was born in Florida in 1986. Growing up, he had a fondness for writing, particularly fiction. He has two siblings, both sisters, and was a fan of fantasy fiction and roleplaying games coming up.
In 2004, he attended Georgia State University, and attempted to get published once with a short story. As school and his publishing goal escaped from him, he soon found himself enlisted in the US Army National Guard, where he briefly considered a career as a police officer. He would later go on to Iraq, and return a new person as a result.
Upon his return to the states, Chris returned to Georgia State University in the Summer of 2009. He soon renewed his sense of purpose, and has dedicated his life to his creative art. While he is a writer, he is also an amatuer film-maker. By and large, he considers his art not to be writing, film-making, or any of the various other media he is becoming proficient in, but rather, world-crafting, as he designs elaborate settings for his fiction.
In his spare time, he still plays online games, and has a major interest in Ufology and Paranormal Research. His movies tend to broach towards Horror, Science Fiction, and Fantasy. His favorite authors are HP Lovecraft, JRR Tolkien, and Stephen King. His favorite directors include George Romero and the Cohen Brothers. His favorite artist is Pablo Picasso. He listens predominantly to Metal, but is not prejudiced against any genre of music.
